Anatomy of a Trigger: A Somatic Workshop Exploring Triggers, Patterns & Self-Awareness

Thursday, July 30 • 7:15PM

A trigger is an emotional, physical, or mental reaction that feels stronger than the present moment alone would seem to warrant. It often occurs when a current situation activates a past experience, belief, wound, or nervous system pattern.

Your triggers are messengers, revealing the unconscious patterns, unresolved wounds, and nervous system responses operating beneath the surface. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to understand your triggers through a somatic lens, uncover what they may be communicating, and develop tools to move from automatic reactions into conscious choice. Because every trigger holds an opportunity for healing, awareness, and growth.

Please bring a journal and something to write with. We'll create space throughout the workshop for reflection, insight, and personal exploration.

Face Yoga & Sound Bath: Awaken Your Natural Expression

(Pay-What-You-Can)

Sunday, August 30• 6-7:15pm

Our face holds so much more than our expressions — it carries the story of our stress, emotions, and everyday experiences. When we're overwhelmed, we often hold tension in our jaw, forehead, eyes, and neck without even realizing it, affecting not only our posture but how we feel.

In this nourishing Face Yoga Workshop, you'll learn simple yet powerful techniques to release accumulated tension, awaken your facial muscles, and reconnect with a softer, more vibrant version of yourself.

During this workshop, you'll:
• Learn techniques to release jaw, forehead, eye, and neck tension.
• Improve circulation and gently tone facial muscles for a naturally refreshed appearance.
• Support your nervous system through mindful touch and breath.
• Leave with a simple Face Yoga ritual you can easily practice at home.

This workshop is especially supportive if you experience:
• Jaw clenching or facial tension from stress.
• Eye strain from long hours at a computer.
• Neck tightness or tension headaches.
• Feeling disconnected from yourself after busy days.
• Difficulty winding down or relaxing before sleep.
• A desire to feel more present, radiant, and at ease in your everyday life.

We'll conclude with a deeply relaxing sound bath, allowing the benefits of the practice to settle into your body and mind. Rest comfortably as soothing sounds wash over you, inviting a sense of calm, balance, and renewal.

Bring a light oil or serum to use for this practice.

No previous experience is necessary.
